I thought I should post some pictures of our busy October before November is over. We had a very fun and busy month. We went to the pumpkin patch, did some Halloween baking and crafts, went to several parties, AND Lauren learned how to ride her bike with two wheels!
Sister love!

I love this picture. I don’t know what they were talking about. But, Lauren is so interested in what her daddy says.

Eleven
I know he’s only weeks away from turning ONE (it’s not easy to type that, BTW). But, I live in this little state called denial. So, I thought if I put off posting his eleven month pictures, I would make time stop moving somehow. Guess what……didn’t work.
So, here they are from a couple of weeks ago. Also, stay tuned for the October/Halloween pictures of the kids. I should have them posted sometime soon (like Spring 2014).

When life gives you lemons….
The girls got the chance to have a lemonade stand last weekend since the weather was so nice. It just also happened to be the neighborhood’s community garage sale. So, we got a lot of business that day. The girls wanted to help raise money for our neighborhood fall picnic in the park. They raked in a whopping $67!! Some of our neighborhood friends came to help. And, quite a few of the neighbors came out to support the cause and cool off with a refreshing glass of fresh squeezed lemonade.
I’m so proud of our little entrepreneurs!

10 months
There are no words to express how much we love this little man! I seriously don’t know where the last 10 months have gone. I mean, I really JUST had him! And, now I’m planning his first birthday bash! He’s such a fun baby and I know we are in for more fun years to come with him. But, it is so bittersweet. He’s the last baby we will have so we want to cherish every moment we have in his babyhood like we cherished it with the girls. We love you Aaron Phillip….to infinity times to the stars and back (as Lauren would say). Stop growing so fast.
He’s got 5 chompers in that smile of his!
He would rather play with his nasty bulb syringe than with the shiny, noisy toys all over the house.

Nine month old
Aaron turned 9 months old on the 27th of August. I almost forgot to take his picture since we were busy having fun with family in town. But, I ended up having a mini photo shoot right before bedtime. Uncle Denny even helped make Aaron smile for his pictures.
Some of these are fuzzy….but his facial expressions were cracking me up!!
We love our little happy man!

He’s on the move
After only one month of sitting in one spot and playing with toys, Aaron has decided it’s time to move. He started crawling on Friday for the very first time. He was doing a little scooting (backwards, mostly) and rolling. But, he got motivated enough with Dennis’ sunglasses to propel himself forward. SO, now it’s REALLY time to get rid of all the little tiny toys in the playroom.
Scrub a dub dub, little man in the tub
I was giving Aaron a bath yesterday morning and the sun was shining so beautifully through the bathroom window. So, I just had to take some pictures. He’s a very photogenic subject.

First Grade
I can’t believe it! Our oldest daughter is a first grader! Wasn’t she just a baby a few minutes ago?? I think I’m in shock right now! She had a great day today. It didn’t start out great since the paper bags that she was supposed to carry with the donated school supplies in them broke right before the last bell rang. So, Mommy helped her take in the bags (which is kind of against the rules….but whatever….I got to give my girl one last hug before she started her day).
She wouldn’t stop talking about all the things she did today. She was so excited to tell me about her day. Then, after school and kids club, she had her first day at gymnastics. And, she loved that too!
The girl had a great first day of school. And, it shows….in the drool on her pillow right now!
We are so proud of you Lauren! You are going to do great things this year!!
Lauren wants to be a party planner and cake baker when she grows up.
