Fall fun 2014

Here are a few pictures from September and October.  We have less than a month now until Aaron turns 2.  Stay tuned for those fun pictures.

I’ve had a lot more time on my hands since I’ve changed positions at work.  So, the kids and I have been able to enjoy a little more down time before the evening routine sets in.

Kinetic sand is one of their new favorite toys. Pretty easy to clean up, too.

Lauren loves to read.  She had watched Charlotte’s Web and couldn’t wait to read the book.

This was our annual trip to a pumpkin patch.  We went to Mother Nature’s Farm this year.  The kids had a great time.  The only downside was the heat and the bees.

Lauren had lost her right top tooth the day before this.  The second one came out later this day.

The kids enjoy the hayrack ride….there’s not much to look at since it’s surrounded by office buildings on one side and open fields on the other.  But, it’s the experience that counts.

Pumpkin carving just isn’t done right unless there’s a power tool involved.

Aaron’s scary pumpkin (I think the angle that the picture was taken intensifies the effect…don’t you?)

Molly’s four squares cut into her drawn on smiley face.  For those of you who know Molly, I don’t need to explain.  For others, Molly does things her own special way.  We love that about her!!

HALLOWEEN

We had so much fun.  When we got home, we danced to Halloween music, then went to a neighbors house for dinner and trick-or-treating with friends.  The kids had so much fun!

Makeup beautifully done by my friend, Faith.

I’m a horrible mother and didn’t get pictures of the actual trick-or-treating process.  But, they were very successful.  And, after picking out 15-20 pieces of their favorite kinds, we took the rest of it (5 lbs. of candy) to their dentist office, who then donated it to the troops overseas.
