11 months
We adore this girl and all the trouble she likes to get into! I think this first 11 months have only just scraped the surface of the amount of fun we are going to have with her. She looks a lot like her daddy, and I’m pretty sure she has a bit of his sense of humor as well. She is cruising and climbing and pushing her shopping cart everywhere. She is just still too chicken to try for those first step. But, I’m sure it will be any day now!
I think this first picture is gorgeous…..snot and all! But, I had to post it with the rest of the pictures I took of this little trouble maker!
Mom says I need a tissue.
That one is too hard.
That one is too soft.
What do you want? I’m busy.
Ewww. Gross. This one was used.
Ahhh. Perfect. Now if I only knew how to blow my nose…

And so it begins….
The babies in my circle of friends are starting to turn one. A few days ago it was Ellison’s turn! Jaclyn put together an amazing party to celebrate her first year. Happy birthday, E!
Friends since birth!
Not a fan of her cake.

40 weeks
It takes 40 weeks for a human fetus to grow and form and become mature enough to live outside of it’s mother. It takes less than a second after the birth to fall madly and deeply in love with that new little human. And, according to my BabyCenter e-mail updates, we’ve enjoyed and gotten to know Molly for 40 weeks now.
She has brought so much joy to our world. We could never imagine our lives without her.
In 40 weeks, she has learned so much. She is cruising along the furniture now and is trying to become brave enough to let go and stand on her own. She waves at us and the overhead fan (not sure what she sees in the fan that gets her so excited). She is eating big girl food now. There is really nothing that she won’t try. She makes smacking noises with her mouth (which I like to think are kisses). And, she is a great sleeper. She takes two naps and sleeps 12 hours at night. She is obsessed with her sister and laughs at everything Lauren does. She is starting to clap and says “Mama” and “Dada”.
We look forward to seeing where the next 40 weeks will take us!
~At her 9 month check-up, she weighed in at 18 lbs and was 27 1/4 inches long~
