Lil’ Pumpkins

I thought I would add some pictures of the girls throughout the month of October.

I don’t know how we can tell that these two are even related.

Audrey’s birthday party was this past weekend.  There was a dunk tank that we couldn’t get these girls out of.

Poor little red face….don’t worry……I put a tank top on her after the cute pictures.

THE HOTTEST corn maze I’ve ever been in….that corn really retains the heat! It really motivates you to find your way out ASAP!

Just the girls!

And, not the little ones this time…..

Early September, Sara, Jaclyn, Christina, Kim and I took a trip to Cali for a much-needed, much-deserved GIRLS TRIP!!

We spent our weekend on the beach, reading books, shopping, eating, drinking, knitting (I know…we got CRAZY), wearing du-rags, laughing, eating, drinking, and sleeping!

It was AMAZING!

The weekend started out when Kim and I walked off the plane and directly into a wine bar.  It was fate!

It ended when the restaurant we were originally going to was closed.  So, we ended up at 333 Pacific for some of the most amazing food I’ve ever had!

I thought I’d share some pictures of the weekend.

These are un-edited pictures…view at your own risk.  Only kidding, girls…I deleted those!

Sea Life

After a month of unpacking and organizing, we decided we needed to take the girls out of the house on a hot, sunny Sunday in August.  We took them to the Rainforest Café for lunch and then to Sea Life Arizona at Arizona Mills Mall.  They loved both places (okay…..Molly wasn’t a huge fan of the fake thunderstorm at the restaurant).

All-in-all, a decent place to go when it’s too hot to do anything else.  And, the girls had a good time being out of the house. And, that’s all that matters.  Happy kids make happy parents!

Daddy's girls

I caught a picture of both girls sitting quietly playing on their "iPads".  The moment didn't last long since Molly can't sit still for longer than 30 seconds.  But,  it was a cute moment and a proud moment for Daddy!

July

It has been so long since I’ve even had a chance to think about blogging. It’s been a bit crazy in the Malone world.

For starters, I began a new job at the end of June. After being a NICU nurse for 10 years,  I’m now working in the Infusion area of the Outpatient Surgery Center at PCH. It’s quite a change from what I’m used to.  But, I’m really loving it. And, the girls and Dennis have enjoyed having me home every night and weekend.  I miss my peeps in the NICU, and, of course the babies.  But, I’ve met some amazing kids that are receiving the infusions and my new partner-in-crime, Naomi, keeps me laughing on a daily basis.

We’ve also moved into a new house in East Mesa. It’s a really cute house and we really like it.  However, packing, moving and unpacking with two small children is challenging. Thank goodness for the one aunt we have here in Phoenix. Dawn took the girls while the movers were getting our stuff to the new house (yes, we got movers…..I wasn’t loading and unloading all of that crap in the middle of July…..that’s crazy!!).

In the midst of all the changes, we managed to go on a mini vacation with the Lockes and the Browns over fourth of July weekend. It was a fun and relaxing weekend. We stayed so close to the beach, it was perfect!! All of the girls had such an amazing time. Even the big girls (moms) got to get out for a bit and take a bike ride along the beach……and get ice cream, of course! It was just a great trip all around with some really great friends.

I’ll post some pictures of the house when I get a chance.
