Aaron is one!!

I’m playing catch-up right now since the it’s been so hectic through the holidays and January.  But, 2 months ago on November 27th, 2013, Aaron Phillip Malone turned one.

His first year was so full of fun, love and adventures.  And, instead of being sad his baby year is over, I’m enjoying every minute of his toddlerhood and look forward to the next year.

Smiling in honor of you

An infant, not long ago

Now, one candle is aglow

You are growing up so fast

How quickly a year has passed

You are special, sweet and wise

A gift before our eyes.

Aaron, you have completed our family so perfectly.  We are so lucky to have such an amazing baby boy.  You are so happy and full of loves and kisses for everyone.  Your little smile lights up a room and your snuggles melt Mommy’s heart.

You started walking on Christmas day.

You get very excited about things and point at them and say “Dis….AAAH”

You like sticking your little finger in your nose (it must be a boy thing).

You giggle at your sisters all the time.

You are 18 lbs. 13 ounces and 29 1/2 inches long.

You still love to nurse in the morning and before bedtime.

You sleep through the night most nights.

You are not a huge fan of swings at the park.  You would rather play in the sand.

You love going for rides in the stroller.

You are so adventurous and brave.

You are such a loved little boy.

October fun

I thought I should post some pictures of our busy October before November is over.  We had a very fun and busy month.  We went to the pumpkin patch, did some Halloween baking and crafts, went to several parties, AND Lauren learned how to ride her bike with two wheels!

Eleven

I know he’s only weeks away from turning ONE (it’s not easy to type that, BTW).  But, I live in this little state called denial.  So, I thought if I put off posting his eleven month pictures, I would make time stop moving somehow.  Guess what……didn’t work.

So, here they are from a couple of weeks ago.  Also, stay tuned for the October/Halloween pictures of the kids.  I should have them posted sometime soon (like Spring 2014).

When life gives you lemons….

The girls got the chance to have a lemonade stand last weekend since the weather was so nice.  It just also happened to be the neighborhood’s community garage sale.  So, we got a lot of business that day.  The girls wanted to help raise money for our neighborhood fall picnic in the park.  They raked in a whopping $67!!  Some of our neighborhood friends came to help.  And, quite a few of the neighbors came out to support the cause and cool off with a refreshing glass of fresh squeezed lemonade.

I’m so proud of our little entrepreneurs!
