Molly turned 4 months old on August 26th. She weighs 13 lbs. 11.4 ounces and is 24.5 inches long. She chews on her hands so much that she has almost mastered putting her whole fist in her mouth! She has started to grab at things, including her feet. I remember when Lauren did this and I was in complete awe! I’m equally amazed at Molly’s abilities. Her toes are really her favorite toy right now. I have a hard time getting her to let go of them during diaper changes. She smiles all the time and giggles when she’s tickled in the right places, i.e. neck and sides. She has recently learned to roll from her back to her front. But, just yesterday she did it constantly. I would put her on her back. Then, she would get frustrated that she couldn’t roll back over and cry. So, I would roll her back over onto her back and she would roll back over onto her belly and cry again. We played that game for a very short time! She seems to be doing well at daycare. She is so happy in the morning when I take her. And, she smiles the instant she sees her teacher, Miss Monica. It makes me feel better about having to take her.
All-in-all, she’s a very happy baby, and she LOVES her big sister. She could be completely beside herself crying, and if Lauren comes over, she stops to smile at her favorite toddler! I love that so much! I can’t wait to see the bond between them grow as they grow!
